At Big Country Raw, our goal is to use real, fresh ingredients as much as possible! Because of this, we have to account variability in our raw ingredients, including seasonal and supply variation. The value we share take that variability into account, and because of that, we test our ingredients and recipes regularly.

Keep raw bones frozen until ready to use.
To thaw, we recommend thawing in a refrigerator for at least 6 to 12 hrs. Once thawed we recommend serving within 3 days. Not intended for human consumption.
Raw bones may pose a potential hazard to dogs and cats. Always supervise your pet when feeding raw bones. Safe chewing technique for meal bones should involve the use of the whole mouth including back molars, chewing side to side before consuming.
TIP: Handfeeding is a training technique to prevent gulping. Hold the raw bone in one hand, teaching them to chew with the side of their mouth to enjoy the treat before swallowing. Offering raw bones frozen may help to prevent gulping from eager eaters, and will extend the chew time for a more enjoyable chew.

My new favourite thing! My dog didn’t really like the smelt but he devoured the sardines! I gave him three and one after the other he loved them! I love the resealable bag.

I love giving whole fish as a source of omega’s for my guys, these new Sardines are perfect! Sardines are so good for them so I love that BCR has added them to their menu – for large dogs just add a few in the bowl and for smaller pups they can be cut in half or fed as a meal replacement bone/chew! These will definitely be a staple in our orders!

WOW! Ça faisait longtemps que je rêvais de sardines pour mes toutous! C’est un super poisson plein d’oméga 3 à donner à mes grands chiens! Ils ont adoré !

My Aussies (an adult and a puppy) LOVE the sardines! I really appreciate that there isn’t a strong smell to them. I actually feed as a chew to my puppy who is teething and my adult really enjoys chomping on them frozen. My adult can be a picky eater, so I’ve thawed the sardines and mashed it up with a protein he is picky about, and he eats the whole bowl! Great way to get those omegas in.

My Malinois puppy LOVES the sardines! I add it to her breakfast every morning.

I give this four because my three Raggies do like it, but will not eat the head! I end up throwing that part out. But they do love the rest. I use it as a treat before we go to bed.

My dog has loved sardines since day one (she use to get them from the can) but we switched to the Big Country Raw brand and she goes nuts when I add them to her meal. I also prefer Big Country Raw sardines to other brands! There is something about the Big Country Raw brand that I prefer.

Bought the sardines the other day direct from BCR. My Mozzy now has a new favourite treat. He loves them and eats the entire sardine.

My adult Aussie really enjoys these and seems to salivate when I bring these out. He eats the head first, and then the body, with the fish lasting a out 10 seconds.

My 9 week old gsd loves theses, low smell but not zero smell. They are real fish so a little is expected. I give them as treats outside or a high value treat for training cut into pieces.

My kitten loves it so much! I cut the sardine in half (because of her small size) and give it to her no more than once or twice a week, along with her basic rabbit and beef raw diet and her Thrive supplements. She has the silkiest fur and no longer has any digestive issues since I’ve switched to raw. I would recommend 100% and even if some are against a raw diet for cats, it’s what their body was designed to eat, not some kibble full of plant matter and additives. Take care of your fur babies and choose what’s right for them ❤️
