I can’t go a week without feeding Turkey Salmon Lamb. The dogs know and get so excited for this. It does wonders for their coats and gives them a nice dietary change from the other proteins. For those dogs with allergies to other proteins this provides a cooling alternative. When you are feeding more than two dogs, this 6-lb tote is ideal. Love this packaging too. You can put these totes in the dishwasher to get them really clean and re-use them to store so many other things, from Lego to screw, nuts and bolts.

  2. Jason Corey

Great source for multiple proteins. My dogs love the taste and the 6lb totes make it super convenient when you have large dogs. Simply thaw and scoop. Great for those with chicken or beef allergies.

  3. Cassie L (verified owner)

Turkey salmon lamb in the 6lb totes are a staple in our monthly order – we always order 2 of these, 2 pure beef, and 2 country blend. We feed a Great Dane so a 6lb tote lasts us 3 days. We love how they stack in the fridge and freezer, the sturdiness of the container and that we are being less wasteful.

  4. Kristina Heald Hoogenboom

A favourite! This blend has three great proteins all in one. No fruits, veggies or chicken which is great for allergy prone pets.

  5. Lori Muzzerall

My schnauzer salivates when I am measure this out for meals. I can not get it in his bowl fast enough. I thought it would stink due to the blend of meats but it smells just as “good”” as the others to me

We were trying to transition our cats to raw (as our dogs are doing amazing on BCR). The first couple of proteins (Chicken / Turkey) were accepted. Then, I tried the Turkey / Salmon / Lamb formula (as it came up under cat food) and they have been very sick on it. Is it the “Salmon” content that is too rich for cats? I’m going to have to cease the transition, until I get their upset tummies under control. This is the only blend that is not working for the cats.

Thanks for asking! All our pets individually have a different tolerance for some proteins. If your cats did well on the Turkey and Chicken and are having trouble with the Turkey Salmon Lamb blend it could be a protein intolerance to the salmon. I would suggest trying a mix of the Pure Chicken or Pure Turkey 50/50 with the Turkey Salmon Lamb to see if this is better tolerated. If you have the same experience, we would suggest avoiding pure salmon going forward.
